FUTURE OF JOBS@5-10 years from now!
Yes, Robots, IoT, AI will be everywhere. It will be a different world. What students study in college, and where they study will make a BIG difference! The Jobs of now, will NOT be there in 5 years of time. Change. Adapt. Predict the Future.
LEADERSHIP@College Admission is KEY
Yes, every college, and specially the good ones want leaders to build a better generation of students that will make that University proud. Every college admission essay asks for it!
STUDENTS@Great SAT/ACT score is not considered Leadership
This is the BIGGEST problem. The student has exceptional GPA, SAT/ACT, but colleges don’t consider that as Leadership! The student despite merit and capability – does not get the right college and settles for a lesser college! Ughhh! Parents and Students were NOT aware of it.
WHAT IS@Leadership?
Come on, this crazy! There are so many things about being a leader, and these are school students! Give us a break! How can you define a leader? Are the colleges looking to admit the student or the principal of the school?
THE SECRET@Admission Officers never tell you
Admission Officers guard this secret with all their heart! They do that purposely to confuse you and make the school look big, appealing and amazing! The answer is really simple.
THE SECRET@is out!
Did you get it? What is it? Imagine the life of an admissions officer for a moment. On an average an admissions officer looks at 2,000 applications a month! Thats nearly 60 applications a day easily.
So whats the secret?
STANDING OUT@is being Different!
Thats exactly the secret. It is about being different from others and standing out from the rest of the applicants.
Get it?
WE MAKE YOU STANDOUT@Altus

ALTUS EDUCATION STUDENT LEADERSHIP PROGRAM – 10 MINUTE OVERVIEW (RECOMMENDED)
TOP 50 SCHOOL/ IVY LEAGUE@Great GPA/SAT/ACT
This program is intense for Ivy Leagues. It requires preparation for at least 2 years to build a portfolio of projects, Grades/GPA/SAT/ACT scores. Top 20-50 can work for 1 year.
Top 20 Schools / Ivy Leagues require effort. A lot of it. Recommendations matter here a lot! Essay is key.The same for Top 20-50! Start Early!
ELEVATED STUDENT@NOT so great GPA/SAT/ACT
This program is for the very “unconventional student“. They are brilliant. They just don’t like the conventional studies, but have a deep passion in them. They are usually very ambitious. They just were never coached.
They want to go for the Top 50-100, but wish they could go to Top 50-30. 1 year is a good time, but start early! Problem is – many of these students start out late.

THE “PROJECTS” WE DO AT ALTUS EDUCATION
While most students are worried about their future during the COVID times, Altus Education Students are creating their future. Here is a current case study.
///PROJECT & IMPACT///
Abhinabha Barat, a student at Shrewsbury High School in Massachusetts is passionate about impacting the world with BioMed Technology and studying at a Top School, possibly an Ivy League.
Altus Education coached Abhinabha Barat during the COVID times to focus on building a “wearable device” that will connect ” Bluetooth Pacemakers” and impact millions of patients with a heart condition receive real-time insights to a conveniently created wearable device, which is absent in the industry.
Abhinabha under the supervision of Altus Education learned an Industry-leading CAD tool called Onshape and designed the wearable device based on the “Design-Thinking” and “System-Thinking” and even built videos and a website (www.TrakLife.org).
Currently Abhinabha has applied for a Patent for his invention! Check out his video.
SOME MORE “PROJECTS” AT ALTUS EDUCATION
Shramaan Chakraborty of Chicago is passionate about Robotics. During the COVID times, Altus Education discovered his passion to help people with disabilities, especially those with cerebral palsy find a way to feed themselves. This is a problem that is hardly addressed and has an immense impact on this community. Shramaan is working on a robotics prototype to help this community.

PROJECT: DESIGN A ST JUDE’S STYLE CANCER HOSPITAL IN INDIA FOR CHILDREN
This is an entirely new concept of designing a cancer hospital for kids. The entire project was built in 6 months by a high school senior in India.
Cancer is a big problem and there is a need for major rehabilitation for children without disrupting their education.

This is no ordinary feat as an entire design was built based on a “human-centered” concepts that encompasses a hospital, school, old age home, garden, playground, businesses, and offices as an ecosystem.
